Employees Guide to Occupational Medicine

What Is Occupational Medicine?

Occupational Medicine is a Medical Specialty. When you have problems with your feet you are seen by a Podiatrist or when you have an allergy you are seen by an Allergist. When you sustain an on-the-job injury or are in need of an employment or D.O.T. physical you are referred to an Occupational Medical Facility.

But there is more to Occupational Medicine than treating your injuries and performing physicals.

The Urgency Care Clinics offer preventive and Health Testing Services through your employer. These services assist you in maintaining health and preventing injuries by teaching you safe work habits. This will assist you in avoiding unnecessary injuries.

Should you need us, we offer vigorous, quality medical treatment that will get you back to work in a timely manner and in many cases reduce or prevent chronic health problems.

The Urgency Care Clinics Medical Philosophy is, "We are neither Pro Management or Pro Labor. We are Medical Providers that treat your medical problem in a specialized and caring manner."

Try us next time you have a job related medical need. You will find out why we are one of the fastest growing clinic systems in Southwest Washington.
